Travel is a gift, we can never forget that. Whether it’s a quick weekend away or a flight across the world, every new place teaches us something not only about the place we’re visiting, but about us . It’s not just the views or the food, it’s how a city feels when you’re walking around or taking it all in. Some places you click with, others you don’t. Either way, you come back changed. Sometimes you’ll want to return; other times, it’s enough to have met a place, liked it, and let it live on as a memory. Strangely, travel is very similar to our personal relationships. Always interesting how some people make a strong impression on us, and others hardly at all. Chemistry is real. We experience it with each and every new destination we visit. Even if travel feels more common now, it’s still a rare privilege. Hold on to that, and never take it for granted. Always remember what a gift it is to experience the world, and how humbling it can be to realize your small place in it. There’s so much out there to see, and every time you meet a new city, state, or country, meet it with gratitude and awe. Some you will fall in love with, while others you’ll be glad you went to understand the reason/s you’ll never return.
